DIET PLAN FOR HIV/AIDS
WHAT IS HIV?
HIV is spread most commonly by having unprotected sex with an infected partner. The virus can enter the body through the lining of the vagina, vulva, penis, rectum or mouth during sex (Immune System Disorders edited by Joyce Shannon). Many people do not have any s ymptoms when they first become infected with HIV. Some people may get a flu- like illness, fever, headache, tiredness or enlarged lymph nodes. These symptoms usually disappear within a week to a month. During this time people are very infectious and HIV is present in large quantities in genital fluids. People exposed to the hiv virus should get an HIV test as soon as they are likely to develope antibodies to the virus-within 6 weeks to 12 months after possible exposure to the virus.

People who have HIV/AIDS,HIV virus, organ transplants, or cancer have poor immunity so there is a special concern about candidiasis. Candidiasis is the spread of yeast infection throughout the body. When the bad bacteria outnumber the good bacteria in the gastro intestinal tract (gut) that is yeast infection. When the yeast infection spreads all over the body, that is called candidiasis. Candidiasis can be spread all over the body if the yeast infection is not remedied in time. Bloating and gas (farting) mean you have yeast. Proper digestion of proper food is most important when there is compromised immunity. There are a number of steps that must be taken: eat good foods; avoid bad foods; eat foods that nourish the good bacteria in the gastro-intestinal tract (gut), P/H balancing and eating immunity foods,
The good foods are discussed in the Candidiasis section of this website. . This HIV/AIDS section will discuss foods that noursh the good bacteria. Inulin is the substance that nourishes the good bacteria in your gut. It is found in chicory which you can get at your herbal store any time of year. The very best thing for inulin is Jeruselum Aritchokes (sunchokes). They are sold during the fall and winter months in some food co-ops and health food stores. They are very easy to grow if you live in a cold climate area. Peel jeruselum artichokes and eat them raw. They are similar to potatoes and look like potatoes. It is important to coat the intestine with muselage. Okra has a lot of muselage. Muselage is sticky, gooey food. The sticky, gooey food can retain the digestive bacteria in your stomach for a longer time and give you better digestion. Okra is easy to grow in your garden if you live in a warm climate. Cinnamon is good for combating candida yeast. It tastes like chocolate to me. Paul D'arco is a good herbal for candida.
Having a diet with plenty of immunity foods can help to deal with all these toxins. The yellow and orange foods like papaya, turmeric, sweet potatoes, and yellow squash have beta-carotine which your body uses to boost your immunity.P/H balance is an important part of a yeast cure. Disease happens in an acidic body. Meats, starches (like potatoes, bread, etc.) and sugars are all acidic. Most vegetables are alkalyn and these can balance the acid foods.
FOODS TO AVOID (from BecomeHealthyNow.com): Brewer's Yeast, Vitamins and Minerals unless labeled yeast free, Antibiotics, Penicillin, Peanuts and Pistachios usually contain mold and should not be eaten. all Sugars and Sweeteners, Alcohol, Fermented Liquors, Root Beer, Cider, Malt products, Condiments, Sauces, Vinegar containing foods, Mustard, Ketchup, Worcestershire, Processed and Smoked Meats, Dried and Candied Fruits, Raisins, Apricots, Dates, and no Left Overs (because mold can grow on left-over food).
The Candidiasis section of this website has the good foods to eat for yeast. The AIDS section has a lot of other things that must be done to cure candidiasis.
